Here is excellent collection of pics of "Old Vegas". What seems so striking to me was the wide spaces between casinos. A lot of the pictures show many empty parking spaces close to the front door. Towers were far more sparse. Single deck blackjack abounded. And the entertainment. Wow! Lots of great old marquees here. Nat King Cole at the Sands, Gladys Knight at Ballys and the Hyatt, Barry Manilow at the MGM and of course, Wayne Newton at the Desert Inn.
