Disney & Career Builders are having a contest where the Grand Prize is to be a Disneyland Cast Member for a day. As a former cast member (Plaza Pavilion 84-85), I don't see the draw. The funnest thing about being a Cast Member was probably the canoe races around the Rivers of America. I'm sure these prize winners don't get to do that. Other than that it was just like any other job. Well, not exactly. Instead of traffic I had to wait out the Man Street Electrical parade everyday. Its taken years to enjoy that song again. And It WAS nice to unwind after work by taking a ride on Space Mountain-talk about a tension reliever! Anyway, the contest has appplicants viral videos that explain why they deserve the job. Pretty fun stuff. I especially enjoyed the pirate & jungle skipper applications.
